Bonus wagering requirements are also referred to a the "playthrough" requirement. This is a minimum amount you must wager or bet in order to be able to withdraw your bonus. Every casino has them. Casinos will have different wagering requirement for different casino games. Why do the casinos require a playthrough requirement? Well it is in the interest of fair play. Here is an example of a 100% bonus up to $100 with an 8x bonus plus deposit wagering requirement:
$50 - Deposit
$50 - Bonus ($50 x 100%)
$100 - Money you play with ($50 deposit + $50 bonus)
$800 - Wagering Requirement ($100 x 8 = $800)
This means you must wager $800 to be able to withdraw winnings from the bonus. This is not as difficult as is sounds. You'll be surprised at how much you will wager over the span of an hour. You constantly go up and down. The goal though is to end in the black.
Now, if you just deposit money with no bonus, there is no wagering requirement. You can withdraw any money at any time. These wagering requirement are only if you take advantage of the bonuses.
